This Privacy Policy explains how Blink Social Ltd. ("Blink", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application.

When you create an account, we collect your display name, date of birth (to verify you are 18+), email address, and optional profile information such as location, relationship status, sexuality, vibes, and interests.
Photos, videos, and audio recordings you send as Blinks or post to your Story are uploaded to our servers. Direct messages (Blinks) are encrypted end-to-end and are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Stories are posted unencrypted and expire after 24 hours.
We collect anonymised usage data including app interactions, device type, operating system version, and crash reports to improve the app experience.
In-app purchases (Encore tokens, pings, boosts, and subscriptions) are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
We use your information to: - Provide, maintain, and improve the Blink service - Match and connect you with other users - Process in-app purchases and manage your subscription - Send push notifications about new Blinks, connection requests, and account activity - Enforce our Terms & Conditions and protect user safety - Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations
Direct messages (Blinks) between users are protected with end-to-end encryption using CryptoKit. This means that only the sender and recipient can view the content of their messages. Blink Social Ltd. cannot read, access, or decrypt the contents of your direct messages. Encryption keys are generated and stored on your device.
- Direct messages (Blinks): Automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours, or immediately upon viewing and Encore completion. - Stories: Automatically expire and are deleted after 24 hours. - Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. - Abuse records: Retained as necessary for safety and legal compliance.
We use the following third-party services to operate Blink:
- Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, cloud functions, and analytics. - RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management. - Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): Delivering push notifications to your device.
These services may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
You have the right to: - Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. - Correction: Update or correct inaccurate personal information via the app. - Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile page. - Data Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format. - Withdraw Consent: Stop using the app at any time. Certain data processing may continue where we have a legal obligation.

Blink is strictly for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete the account and all associated data immediately.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including end-to-end encryption for direct messages, secure HTTPS connections, and Firebase security rules. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Blink after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
